Pink and Blue Muse

Pink and Blue Muse was inspired by the abstract style and color compositions to that of Georgia O’Keeffe, who is one of my biggest inspirations.
This piece is about the soft, glowing energy of inspiration that can be found all around us. It is an abstraction of one of my favorite flowers, the Calla Lily.
The color palette was inspired by the Arizona sunrises, with beautiful blue mountains and glowing pink, yellow, and orange skies that infinitely stretch across the desert. I am constantly in awe of the colors and landscape of beautiful Arizona, in which I live at this time.
One of my first big pieces in oil, I explored new territory and developed a deep appreciation for the process and journey of oil painting.
